THE LSIP BOARD
Michael K. Frommelt, CFA, is Chairman and Managing Partner of ARISTO Investment Management AG in Vaduz where he manages private client assets. Prior to starting his own business in July 2004 he was CIO and deputy CEO of swissfirst Bank (Liechtenstein) AG, Vaduz, which was originally known as of Bank Wegelin (Liechtenstein) AG in Vaduz. Michael worked most of his career in Zug (Zulauf Asset Management AG in 1998), Zürich (Vontobel Asset Management in 1994 to 1998 and UBS in 1986 to 1994) as a portfolio manager, fund and relationship manager. As from 1986 to 1988 he served a special assignment at UBS (Securities) London and UBS Branch London. Initially he took a banking apprenticeship at Bank in Liechtenstein AG in Vaduz back in 1981. Michael graduated at the School of Economics and Business Adminstration (HWV) in St. Gallen in 1985 and earned his CFA designation in 1994. He was a founding member of the Swiss Society of Investment Professionals SSIP, the predecessor of the Swiss CFA Society SCFAS.
Andreas Hueber is Member of the Senior Management of LGT Bank in Liechtenstein AG in Vaduz where he is Head of Credit Portfolio Management. Prior to this appointment he was based in Hong Kong working as Local Credit Advisor with LGT Investment Management (Asia) Ltd. supporting the credit business of LGT in all its Asian representations. Andreas started his professional career at LGT in 2002.
Martin Zimmermann is a Relationship Manager at LGT Bank in Liechtenstein AG, Vaduz advising and supporting intermediary clients (fiduciaries, external asset managers, etc) in their investment decision making process. Prior he worked as a equity analyst at LGT Capital Management, Pfäffikon, Switzerland, where he was responsible for investment recommendations on German and wider European markets. He started his professional career at LGT in 2003. Martin studied at Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Finland and Hochschule Liechtenstein where he graduated with a Master of Sciences (MSc) in Banking and Financial Management. Martin earned his CFA designation in 2011.
Michael Frei is Managing Director of OLZ Wealth Management AG in Schaan where he manages private and institutional client assets. Before starting with OLZ in 2007 he was an Investment Consultant at Complementa Investment-Controlling AG in Zurich (2001 to 2006). He was advising Pension Funds in Liechtenstein and Switzerland concerning Asset Allocation, Manager Selection and Investment-Monitoring. He was also leading the competence centre Equities and responsible for the manager selection process. Initially he joined The Boston Consulting Group (2000 to 2001) where he worked as a management consultant to financial services and industrial companies. Michael graduated in economics and finance from the University of St. Gallen and earned his CFA designation in 2006.
Georg Peter is a research assistant at the chair of Business Administration, Banking and Financial Management at the University of Liechtenstein. Prior to his appointment in Vaduz he was employed at the department of Banking and Finance at the University of Innsbruck. His PhD thesis is an empirical and theoretical analysis of the relationship between stock market returns and the determinants of asset liquidity. Currently, his research focus is on empirical asset pricing, stock market liquidity and market microstructure. Georg Peter is the author of some published articles and working papers and frequently presents his research on international scientific conferences. He studied at the University of Innsbruck and the Westminster Business School in London. In 2010, he entered the CFA Program and passed the CFA level II exam in June 2011.
Marcel Vaschauner, MBA, is a research assistant at Hochschule Liechtenstein. He is member of the study advisory board of the Master pograms at Hochschule Liechtenstein, where he developed the Master of Science in Banking and Financial Management and the Master of Science in Entrepreneurship - Major Finance. Next to lectures at Hochschule Liechtenstein he had several visiting scholarships such as at University of Malta, University of Potsdam, University of Applied Science Ludwigshafen or University of Applied Science Vorarlberg. Next to these visiting scholarships he accompanies different consulting projects for the Institute of Financial Services as a project manager and trainee-programmes at HSBC London as a trainer. Prior to Hochschule Liechtenstein he worked for LGT Bank AG in Liechtenstein, where he gained professional experience in Private Banking. Marcel Vaschauner studied at the University of Florida and Hochschule Liechtenstein, where he graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Banking and Financial Management.
Timothy Keilbar, CFA, is Investment Controller of VP Bank AG in Liechtenstein. For the total client base of the bank he ensures clients' assets in discretionary and non-discretionary accounts are invested within the framework of legal and regulatory requirements. Before joining VP Bank in July 2007, he worked as the Investor Relations Officer of Volkswagen Financial Services AG, being responsible for the communication with institutional investors and analysts in matters relating to debt-issuances of the company.
Katrin Eggenberger currently works at Wegelin & Co. Private Bankers where she is head of the fund-based wealth management team. Katrin started her International Business studies in 2003 at Fisher College of the Ohio State University in Columbus, USA. After completing her freshman year and receiving the OSU-Award in recognition of excellent academic record, she transferred to the University of Liechtenstein and worked in the Private Banking section at VP Bank in Vaduz. Katrin completed her Bachelor degree in Finance in 2008 and received the Hilti Foundation Award for her thesis "The US credit crisis - the end (or the beginning) of securitisation?". Katrin commenced the CFA program in 2007.
Oliver Oehri is Managing Partner at CSSP, an independent research and advisory company specialised in sustainable and responsible investments (SRI). Oliver is a board of directors' member of a large Liechtenstein investment fund management company and as a committee chairman responsible for the investment controlling. Prior to this, he directed the research in impact investments at the University of Liechtenstein and implemented the first microfinance investment fund in Liechtenstein. As an Associate Partner of the Fund-Academy in Zurich and as a financial consultant at a St. Gallen consultancy, he was able to amass profound theoretical and practical experience in the area of investment products. Oliver graduated in economics and finance from the University of St. Gallen and teaches at the University of Zurich. |
